cover of a book which reads: "Proto-Kuki-Chin: A Reconstructed Ancestor of the Kuki-Chin Languages by Kenneth VanBik, STEDT Monograph 8, UC Berkeley"

Dr. Kenneth Van Bik, alongside his family, is building a collection of Hakha Lai materials in the Lai Language Resource. They are excited to bring materials from various origins together in one place, including corpora, translated books, magazines, and journals originally published in Myanmar. There are even dictionaries compiled by his father, Rev. Dr. David Van Bik!

Dr. Van Bik writes, "The availability of these materials will be of great help to both scholars and members of the Chin communities. In particular, now that there are Chin communities all over the globe, access to these materials online will become more beneficial to these diaspora Chin communities."
